In Memoriam Percy B, Shelley

We celebrated the anniversary of his death on July 8 with the Romantic Scholars in Rome. "The Triumph of Life" was read in many different languages. An unfinished poem, the last lines were: "And, Oh, I ask you what is life?" A question asked to all readers that found no answer in the poet's short lifetime devoted to poetry, political reform, liberty, and human rights.
