I think that publication is only the beginning of the cognitive process
that has led to the writing of the content. I have been reading and thinking
about Geoffrey Hill's poetry for more than five years now. My essay on him
just came out in the Journal of Poetics Research edited by emeritus
Professor and poet John Tranter affiliated to Sydney University among
other universities in the English-speaking world. Of course, I am more than
gald and enthusiastic that he published my essay word by word. Yet, I feel
I'm only beginning to understand Geoffrey Hill, his thoughts, feelings,
his rebellion against injustice that is intertwined with Nature and human
history. And his hope in spirit of human life and community which we all
share and which makes us the humans that we are.
